    DJ Argus I wish I could experience a short drop with a trapdoor, but too much danger of hurting my neck. So no drop, just a black hood, a thick rope noose and a stool to be kicked out from under my feet so I can swing.

Have the hangee stand on his or her tip toes with you holding the rope tight, then you hit the switch/lever with your foot and the trap door falls away with the hangee being held up by you...  moreGoddess, maybe a trapdoor that you can activate with your foot.? Have the hangee stand on his or her tip toes with you holding the rope tight, then you hit the switch/lever with your foot and the trap door falls away with the hangee being held up by you from the noose. Maybe have a gym mat cushion below the trap door so you can lower them safely after they've hanged for enough of a time. I wish I was good at building things, I'd want to make the object of my "demise"!

    Noose lover Excellent idea on the trap door, possibly use an electromagnetic like on a security door. There extremely strong and would take the weight of a person. Hook it to a foot controller that would interrupt the circuit and the trap door falls away. Release...  moreExcellent idea on the trap door, possibly use an electromagnetic like on a security door. There extremely strong and would take the weight of a person. Hook it to a foot controller that would interrupt the circuit and the trap door falls away. Release the foot control and the trap door is easily reset.
